FAQ
How do I sign in?
Enter your phone number on the login screen. You will receive an OTP (verification code) by SMS. Enter the code to sign in. You can optionally add your name during onboarding or later in your profile. After sign-in, you need an active subscription to use the app.
How do I create a project?
From Home, tap Create Project (or use the Projects tab). Step 1: Enter project name, description, and optional due date, then Next. Step 2: Optionally add members by picking from your device contacts (those who are app users can be linked). Confirm to create. The number of projects you can create depends on your subscription plan.
How do I add or remove project members?
Only the project owner or an admin can add members. Open the project, tap Add member, and enter the person’s phone number; if they are registered in the app, you can add them with a role (e.g. member). Owner or admin can remove other members (not the owner). Any member can leave the project (remove themselves).
How do I create and assign a task?
Open the task list from My Tasks or Create Task on Home (or from inside a project). Enter a title, optional due date, optional “before” images, and optionally choose a project and assign someone. If you are owner or admin, you can assign to any project member; if you are a member, you can only assign to yourself. Notifications are sent when a task is created or assigned.
What are site visits?
Site visits let project managers (owner or admin) record that they visited the project site on a given day. Only one visit per manager per project per day; you can add an optional remark. Go to Home → Site Visits, choose the project and manager, then mark the visit. Others can see who visited and how many times; history is grouped by month.
What are drawings and “delivery requested”?
Each project has a drawings list. Each drawing has a name and status: checked, needs revision, urgency. You can mark a drawing as “delivery requested” to signal that you need that drawing; project managers get notified. You can turn your request off; if others have also requested, the drawing stays “delivery requested” until the app logic says otherwise.
How do I manage notifications?
The bell icon on Home shows unread count. Tap it to see the list, filter by project, and mark as read. Tapping a notification opens the related screen (task, project, etc.). In Settings you can turn task, comment, and member notifications on or off. Push notifications (via Firebase) use the same content and can open the app to the relevant screen.
How do I delete my account?
From the app: go to the Profile tab and use the delete account option; you will be asked to confirm with your phone number. If you cannot use the app, you can request account deletion on our website. After confirmation, your account will be deleted. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data after deletion.
I found a bug. What should I do?
Email support@binmek.com with a description of the issue, steps to reproduce, and if possible your device model and Android version. We will respond as soon as we can.
